Here is a summary of Dr. Neuman’s latest news

On June 23, 2026, Dr. Neuman co-hosted the 17th annual Charles Lieber Memorial Symposium with Dr. Helmut Seitz, as part of the Research Society on Alcoholism (RSA) annual conference, which took place in San Antonio, Texas. The symposium speakers this year were Drs. Seitz, Gary Murray, Craig McClain, Giuliano Ramadori, Keigo Machida and Dr. Neuman. We’re proud to have attracted over 30 audience members, including many of Dr. Neuman’s close colleagues. 

May 4-6, 2026: Dr. Neuman attended the Canadian Society of Clinical Chemists (CSCC) conference in Halifax. She was invited to present about her lab’s work as part of the opening session “Lightning Talks” in which four presenters had 5 min. each to ‘pitch’ their “million dollar idea” to colleagues via a “Pecha Kucha” presentation.

March 23rd, 2026: Dr. Neuman successfully completed her 10-week ChaiTech startup accelerator program, including pitching to investors on March 10th, as part of the pitching competition, as well as presenting In Vitro at her booth at the culminating ChaiTech Den 6 event on March 23rd. 

Dr. Neuman was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Ontario Society of Clinical Chemists in Oct. 2024, during their conference dinner in downtown Toronto!                 

Dr. Neuman attended the Ontario Society of Clinical Chemists (OSCC) annual meeting in Ottawa in Oct. 2025, where she met colleagues and participated in conversations.
